Its coming up to servicing time!
Can any one recommend a good garage for E6 servicing down here in the North Hampshire/Surrey/West Sussex area (Mitsubishi included).
I know there are Mitsubishi Ralliart approved dealers at Guildford and I think Hook. Are they any good?
Any one used Park Lane at Alton, are they equiped properly to service Evo's?
Any other garages down here?

Heave Ho Six,

I just bought my Evo 6 from 'March Motor Group' in Southampton who have just been awarded 'Ralliart' Status. I have popped in there several times and there are always a handfull of Evo's in there being serviced.

Oh yeah I forgot about them, I bit too far but I will bear it in mind. They were the garage that had an E6 sitting on the forecourt for a ridiculous price when I was looking for one. It was funny to watch it come down by about ÂŁ6000 in 3 months.

So where abouts are you then, Mark?
Hows the car going, you brave enough to drive it yet....hehe?

Thanks Daryl.
The previous owner of my Six used them but they are still a bit out of the way for me. He had no complaints about them either.
Anybody else, I am particularly interested in Guildford and Hook Mitsubishi and Park Lane, Alton?

DON`T use Park Lane as i have tried them, purely oil and amp; filter boys. [ totally non technical ]
I would highly recommend Mill Lane, Odiham [ you call Hook ]They have done both 4.5 K |PLS| 9K services for me with no problems and amp; good personal service.
PS my company is in Hook, where are you ?

see ya

Yeah sorry I meant Odiham, right I will use them then!
What did they charge you for the 2 services?
Thanks for the warning about Park Lane I thought they were supposed to be good as I heard they had their own Japanese technican just goes to show you that you shouldn't believe all you hear. I nearly bought a Grey Import Evo from them but they p#ssed me about. They were supposed to ring me back on 3 or 4 seperate occansions but they didn't. Those few phone calls cost them ÂŁ22k! I bought a better Grey Import privately instead.
The bloke I bought my Grey Import from originally got a Ralliart UK car from Guildford Mitsubishi but he said he didn't like the customer service he got from them when he had problems with the car. Suffice to say after 2 Ralliart UK cars going wrong he got a Grey Import instead and never had any trouble after that!
Thanks for the info, by the way I am near Liphook. (its the other side of Farnham/Alton than Hook)

Cheers for everyones help.

I have used Power Engineering in Uxbridge and they are very professional. They have over twenty years experience of turbo cars and they now have their very own Evo so they have first hand experience of the car. Quite expensive though.

I have also been to Mitsubishi in Wokingham. They charged me ÂŁ185 for a ÂŁ4500 service.

I have been quoted ÂŁ215 for my next ÂŁ9000 mile service by Court and Smith Mitsubishi in Ripley (between Woking and Guildford).

Hope this helps,

MS.

There can only be one..

HH6,

Yeh I'm brave enough. Best care so far (I've had Escort Cossie, WRX Impreza, Skyline R33).

I'm down near Hythe in Southampton, but regularly travel to Fareham/Bournemouth/Poole/Winchester and sometimes past Liphook to Grayshott to see some clients.

Mark.

I had a similar experience when i tried buying from Park Lane, found them unreliable and expensive.I did try them for my 4.5K service and it turn out they had to take it to Mill Lane as unable to do AYC fluid change etc.
Mill Lane fixed price 9K service ÂŁ218.27 |PLS| vat[ both these include all parts and amp; materials ]
AYC Fluid change |PLS| gearbox oil change cost ÂŁ140.11 |PLS| vat.
Speak to Darren Bolger for further info on 01256 709700 should be able to sort you out ok.
I`m just down the road in petersfield.
regards Dave

Thanks again guys, all useful info!
It has been discussed (suggestions forum) about making up a database of reliable dealers/garages which can service Evo's correctly. Perhaps a star rating out of 5 for the service you get from each garage?
I would be happy to compile it for posting on this site.

Just thought I should come to the defence of Park Lane. I bought my VI from them and had no problems. The price was right too! No experience of servicing, but the car was absolutely immaculate and well prepared. It had done 6000 miles and was like new. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to buy.
