Hi all, just after a bit of advice. Coming home from work in a bit of stop/start traffic and the car experienced a bit of a hiccup once traffic was moving and then a few minutes later after another stop at lights I was in kangaroo central. Managed to pull over into parking spot after 100mtrs or so and as I pulled in car just died and wouldn't restart with a nice smell of unburnt fuel.

As fortune would have it I broke down outside our local chemist who had a prescription for me, so went in but once out I checked all of the coil packs were connected properly as top was off last week to check timing chain and she started up but check engine light was on. Managed to get home and got my trusty OBD dongle from shed and Torque app was showing me P0132 and P2253 faults (both O2 sensor related I guess).

Cleared them both, ran car for a bit but still showing P2253 but as a 'pending fault' although car still running fine.

Car is booked in for some work next week anyway, but I'm guessing I've either got a front O2 sensor fault or it's just clogged up with crap having not had a good blast for a while but would appreciate advice/thoughts as it's an 80+ mile trek to garage next week ?

Thanks in advance !

Thanks, saw that thread and was thinking that maybe cables, etc. got a bit wet or broken or just clogged up sensor. Will use wifes car until it goes in next week and get the guys to take a look at it. Hopefully it'll be ok on the drive down but will take it easy.
