My oil pressure at hot idle when my engine was built was 1.2-1.4 bar:)...yep perfect.:):coolsm:

Was like that for a few months untill i did my 3rd oil change (same oil used everytime...pro r 15w50) and fitted a hks pink:blush::lol: oil filter which claims to improve oil pressure...?>.?...does have a mad swirly design inside...

Straight after that my hot idle pressure is at 1.7-1.9 bar..even 2 bar.

Ive even fitted a brand new oil pressure sensor today and still 1.8 bar hot idle.

Im guessing the filter actually works:confused:...surely a good thing..?

Anyone else used these with any results??

Hmm...loads of figures around:confused:

quote= rated at 99.99997% efficiency on particles 0.01 micron and 0.12 micron MPPS.

quote= HKS Super Hybrid Filter -... that uses a micronic mesh screen to filter particulates as small as 40 microns.

quote= The HKS hybrid sports oil filters also feature better filtration, filtering the engine oil at 20 microns, whereas most OEM-quality oil filters are at 25

Hi guy's I just finish installing my K&N oil filter with the R-Spec sandwich adaptor plate. My Evo 4 for has a Evo 8 engine, so when i hooked up the oil pressure & temp the readings were as follow (hot Idle 900-1000 rpm):

Oil Pressure 1.1-1.2 bar at idle & 5.5-6.0 bar at around 4500 - 5000 rpm.

Oil temp is around 60 celcius & never seems to go above 90 celcius, is this normal?
