EVO X SST Teach PassThruCAN Problem *** SORTED ***

HELP PLEASE !

I have an EVO X FQ300 SST (UK Spec)
I need to "teach" my SST clutch its limits again.
I have downloaded PassThruCan and get the following error message.....

Image

This is what I have done......

I downloaded and installed PassThruCan

I have installed and am using Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 (evoscan and ecu flash work ok)

I have downloaded the modded version of ptc32.dll and installed in correct folder.

I "may" have changed the registry key to allow free access ;)

I have downloaded and moved to the correct folders the .CBF and .tipart files.
(AMT_17800000_000204_dio30_C.cbf & TI_Info.tipart)

I run the PassThruCan program no problem and it talks to the car as I can read the software versions and codes etc..
Soon as I attempt to select the SST Teach menu, it communicates with the car but then gives the error message above.

In the documentation, it says this message is a corrupt or missing .tipart file so I downloaded it again but no joy !

Does anyone have any experience doing this themselves or can offer some advice ?

I have tried this on several computers with different operating systems
(32 bit XP and windows 7)

As I downloaded this all from an american evo forum, I am guessing I need some UK spec files ???

My SST ECU versions are....
ECU PART: 8631A379
S/W PART: 8631A3790C
VIN No: CZ4A-000****
(read from PassThruCan)

Someone must have got this going in this country !

Thanks in advance for any help !

So you can actually perform your own re-learn just using Evoscan?

I wish I knew more about how to do this. I don't suppose you fancy producing a set of how to do it instructions for numpties like me?

It made a slight difference but after everything, the best thing I found was a gearbox oil and filter change... do it as often as you can afford.. !
The oil is not only a lubricant, its used in control actuators that have finer movements than a regular auto gearbox.
