evo 9 fuel pump capacity?????????????

been getting some advice on the best way to go on me upping my bhp on me 9ix from 370 to around the 450 mark and to be honest getting very differnt feedback from tuner to tuner (no offence to anybody). a lot of people seem to get uprated pump at the begging of modding but them a lot of tuners are recomending injectors but not puel pump?

What are others people opinions on this subject? dont know if this makes any difference but its a JDM motor

Some of the IX's have a slightly bigger capacity pumps, but I would not bother talking to anyone who think a fuel pump is not worth changing.
The 560cc injectors will be almost flat out above the 400 mark, even an FPR will only gain a little duty back. So injectors and fuel pump are required, as is a lot of other stuff to reach that power on an IX safely.

The fq360 IX pumps are crap. I would not be surprised if they are standard pumps.

The IX FQ360 pumps flow 225 L/ph as opposed to the 255L/ph of the Walbro, I think?

Not sure what the standard CT9A pumps flow?

99% sure the IX MR360 had a fuel pump upgrade, but I would still change it for the £65 a Walbro costs.

looks like im going to have to get one of these as well and hers me thinking i could save on this and put it towards the carbon mirrors:goingmad:

It's very good for safety, older pumps wear and may not provide enough pressure.
