should be cp9a-010 not sure how many after but not like the german or french cars where you get lost in it

 

this has cp9a-020 with 4 other numbers

its a tommi makinen if that makes a diff

 

Mine is CP9A - ****** (six digits)

 

does it have to be 010 or 020

does it have to be 6 digits or can it be 7

 

My one starts 000 with 3 further digits. It's an "Extreme" if that makes any difference.

 

i'm pretty sure that all TME's were CP9A-020

 

tommis are 020...evo 6 is 010

 

7 digits 6gsr cp9a-010xxxx and 6mak cp9a-020xxxx

My RSX also based on the RS2 starts JMYSNCP9AXU

 

Evidence here of CP9A000 being a V, but it was definitely 000 on my VI Extreme.

We might be getting a bit confused here over nothing.

RS2's were the export cars, and so had a 17 digit chassis no and these work differently to a JDM 11 digit number, for example

JMYSNCP9AXU000506

On a car with the 17 digits, the letter after the CP9A part tells you what Evo the car is, not the next three numbers.

W = 5
X = 6
Y = TME

The three zeros are related to the production number of the car.
