American Warewolf in London, love that film.

Signs, not really that scary but not to far fetched and give you the shivers when the dude walks past the window at the kids party
cant stand werewolf films is it that good?

If you are after something a bit more obscure than the usual Hollywood tripe and you don't mind subtitles, check out a film called 'Let the Right One In.' It is a Norwegian film but it really is quite superb. Its is original and beautifully acted and shot. Well worth checking out.
just 'bought' that film now :smthumbup heard it was good.

The most disturbing that I've watched:

Liverpool v Birmingham City 07/11/09
Liverpool v Aston Villa 22/08/09
Sunderland v Liverpool 17/10/09

On a slightly more serious note:

Haute Tension (Switchblade Romance) - As Raj mentioned, French film, I thought it was excellent at the time, but the plot has been over used in the last couple of years so it might be a bit predictable now.

Most of films listed are pretty good. Am a horror buff myself. You might like this one being a most haunted fan. IMDB gave it 7.3 av rating. Remember seeing it a kid and scared me crapless.

(1980) The Changeling- George C Scott
'A man staying at a secluded historical mansion, finds his life being haunted by the presence of a spectre'
