One man dead after harbour crash
One man is dead and four others are in hospital after being injured when a car drove off a road into a harbour.
A Mitsubishi Lancer travelling north left the A350 at Holes Bay Road and overturned in Poole Harbour, Dorset.
A fire service spokeswoman said on Saturday: "The car drove off the road landing on its roof in shallow water."
The man died in hospital. Two women passengers were seriously hurt and the driver and another male passenger suffered minor injuries.
I'm going to get crucified for this but, if your going to drive like an f'n idiot what do you expect, keep it on the tracks in a controlled enviroment, and not on the public highway,
some poor guy has died because whoever was driving wanted to show him how quick his car was :blah:
Me n Tomsy both live nearby and have probably both pushed it down that road.....but to hit the water he'd have had to be REALLY pushing it.
The 1st map in the links below show the junction he came off and the woodland he'd have gone through, the second map shows the scale of the woodland he went through...its pretty much the same width as the fottball pitch nearby.
Still....it is sad to see another Evo go.
By the way......Tomsy, do you live/work near Lansdowne??
speaking to some one yesterday, as i live in poole. it wasnt even his car the car was a fq 300 but was owned by poole car center. the guy was a valeter for the garage who borrowed the car for the night. just shows you cannot just jump into one of these cars. sad news i know but maybe kids will stop trying to drive fast with passegers or passengers will stop getting into cars with kids trying to prove something.
I'm still here, mines silver, every one keeps contacting me to see if I'm still here, I AM !
I live here and didn't hear till now, mates etc.
Sorry to hear life lost.
I've sped down there big time, will go slower down there now.
