I think by 8th gen all plasmas will be 1080p.

Not Pioneer's G8 which is due 2nd qtr '07


Interesting about the pre production bd player, my friends on the inside at pioneer haven't even seen that yet.


Not many people at Pioneer GB have . They had, I think, 10 delivered just before Xmas most were shipped out next day to selected dealers

I will say that it would be worth waiting for , Or maybe the incestuously related Sony BDP-S1 . I'm "advised" that Sony provided the software and Pio the BD drive
