Ive seen a few sets on evo's

With a bit of research on offset and width you can make virtually any wheel fit a car

Fitment requirements will be the same as with any other wheel, the only additional info you need is brake clearance. Fortunately Work normally create a version of their wheels with big brake discs so that you can run a little more dish/concave in the rear without having to use spacers up front

Nothing wrong with spacers if you buy decent hubcentric ones, a lot of people running aftermarket wheels on an Evo will have them

Problem with the D9R and Brembos is the shape of the inner rim, as the Brembos are quite chunky you need a 5mm spacer up front minimum.
