Right then,

Wifey went to Malta this morning, had to drop her off at Gatwick at 5.30am!!!

She's gone for a week, any ideas on what I can do? I finished work yesterday, got shedloads of beer!

Tried licking my elbow, can't do that! Tried putting party poppers up the dogs' ar*e, won't stay still long enough!

Thinking of going to PC World tomorrow, any games worth buying? Got Colin Mcrae2, F1 2001, Mobil 1 Rally!

Porn sites get boring after a while!

Any suggestion gratefully received!!

Andy (v lonely and BORED)

A few ideas

1. go to the pub with your mates (the ones your wife doesn't like)
2. If you have broadband, download some movies a.k.a gnutella (limewire)
3. lick the dogs elbow
4. go buy some games, on the PC try Return to castle Wolfenstien or Counter Strike (the mother of all multiplayers) (I've just got Ghost recon too but its b1tch hard multi-player) for the PS2 the only thing I play is GT2
5. go away for the weekend yourself!
6. answer peoples post on this bbs :D (that's what I'm doing!)

I'm seriuosly thinking of buying a PS 2, but heard WRC and GT3 ain't as good as, say, Colin Mcrae2! Two minds, see! Brought 1 of PC's from work home (1.4 Gig processor and x2 graphics card thingy's). Got steering wheel, flight yolk and controller pad for PC, seems a shame to get PS2!

tried licking dogs' elbows, got fur in my mouth (not for the first time hehe...aaaah happy days) and the other one wanted some too!

As for other computer stuff, wasted on me, I'm afraid! I know how to turn it on/off and delete temporary internet files (you know why), that's it!

Wolfenstein is a good idea. Had the original one long time ago, gave me nightmares, though!

Replied to all posts on here (inanely of course). Do that every day, anyway. I know I'm a sad individual!

Keep 'em coming!

As that Meldrew bloke wud say , I DONT BELIEVE IT !

Wots yr prob with aviation M8 , safest form of transport u know even factoring in recent events.
Just fly BA or Virgin , sit back and enjoy.
The only prob with New York normally at this time of year is finding a hotel , but shouldn't b a problem in the current situation. LA is a mad place , warm now and plenty of action.
Food is cheap and excellent , New York in particular is a genuine 24.7 city ,I've been in Virgin Mega store Time Square at 3am !, even Christmas and amp; New Years day the Deli's r open , clothes r cheap , even Armani , DKNY , Boss etc................Jeez I think I've just talked meself in2 it :)
Wot wud the woman say tho !

An oft quoted piece of disinformation - aviation runs a close second to Hovercraft. (although there aren't many places you can go via commercial hovercraft services these days :)

don't knock of gt3 just yet. i'd go as far as saying its better than anything else out there. ps2 is nice, got very nice games for it and maybe a linux console if sony japan ever gets to shipping that option out to the rest of the world.

I hope you can read japanese |EQU|)

Andy,

simple. one of two things.

1) kick back and smoke some weed.
2) spend all night on chat lines then go for a raz in the 5 on a motorway near a train line.

or maybe both.

if you like strategy games try civilisation 3. Civ 2 was the firt game i got for the PC. It was so addictive the first night i had it i played til 3am. trouble is the PC was set up on the floor so i had to kneel down to play it. Afetr 7 hours of kneeling i couldn't walk and had to drag my self along with my arms to get to bed.

Red alert 2 also very good in real time strategy line. baldurs gate for rpg.

Personally I'm not a great fan of the 1st person shoot em up's having been through Doom, Doom 2 and Quake in the early days.

Andy,
If you want a good first person PC game that doesn't involve running around with all guns blazing then try Operation Flashpoint. Absolutely brilliant game and you get to have fun driving around in cars, tractors, tanks, APC's, helicoptors, A10 planes as well as being a standard infantryman. The graphics are superb and it is guaranteed to get you hooked.

The other option of course is to sleep during the day and then wake up about 2 or 3 in the morning and go for some absolutely superb drives around your favourite country lanes with no traffic and pedestrains etc to worry about. Sounds like heaven to me :D

splerdu,

R5900 MMU routines ??? MMU is a Memory Management Unit !!!

Does your post suggest that you have access to a PS2 emulator for
linux ? (or could it be PS2 running LINUX ?)

In any case I believe you are posting in a wrong forum ... :)

Thanx guys (except the PS2 Linux thingy, don't have a fkin clue what you're on about, sorry).

Paul,

Thought about doing the extension but it's too cold and I've run out of sand and can't get any til the 28th!

Like the idea of the shagathon! Don't think H would be too impressed! Also, I'd have to get any bird plastered before she'd let me! Not economically viable, then!

Got my mate to laplink download a porn film last night. It's OK but 'cos it's not on DVD, my control bar won't let you ff or rewind, and we all know that's no good! :)

I'm going over to Tempo this afternoon. They've gone bust so have to sell everything b4 Xmas Eve. Hopefully they've got a PS2 with GT3 and WRC going for about £20! If not I'll go to PC World and buy myself a couple of prezzies!
