Apologies if this advert annoys the hardcore Evo enthusiasts, I understand this is top money but am looking to make a profit and I dont care who buys it, I also know most of you know everything there is to know about the GT's so Im sorry the below was written for the average man who wants a clean evo looking on ebay. To clarify I am a rallying enthusiast not an evo enthusiast, my chosen form of motorsport is one which destroys evos slowly by gravel rash! and occasionally completely wrecks them instantaneously into the the trees :) I will take 20 grand for a quick hassle free sale.

The car can be viewed in my shed where it is pictured below, in Aberdeen Scotland. my mobile number is 07549930777. THE CAR HAS NO ROT!!! IT IS NOT RUSTY UNDERNEATH AND I WILL GET PHOTOS TOMORROW TO DISPROVE THE SNIFFERS.

The Lancer Evolution IX GT is part of Mitsubishi's GH-CT9A model series.

The GT variant is the ultimate EVO 9 with the RS rear diff (non AYC) and 5 speed RS gearbox whilst retaining the comforts and luxuries of an MR (electric windows aircon etc).
The GT also benefits from an extremely rare (only found in a GT) interior with suede and alcantara RECARO seats and suede doorcards combined with Carbon fibre dash and spoiler components as standard, this particular car benefits from a number of subtle modifications including a Ralliart Carbon front splitter, EXE-TC Dampers on all four corners, HKS exhaust, intake and Apexi Boost controller. The car has been remapped to a very safe 407.9 BHP. the car also benefits from a TOAD A1606 immobiliser and CAT 1 alarm system. Front door speakers have also been upgraded and Dynamat installed behind the door card for sound Quality. The Alpine Head unit is Iphone ready however not included in photographs as I removed this for use in my van due to the fact that the car never leaves the shed this can be included in sale, its only for lack of use the system is out. The car is also sitting on 18" speedlines with New tyres, Original wheels and tyres are included in the sale. The car has 'as new' discs and pads on its standard fitted Big brembos, A new clutch fitted approx 10k ago and completely full Service history detailing every oil change and MOT, It has never been spared a service and all oils have been done approximately every 3000 miles. the car also received a brand new battery last week as the old one had died whilst sitting in my shed over winter.

I compete in British Rallying both BRC and BTRDA events aswell as SRC. I run an Evo 9 B13 car built by ralliart (XCZ3734) and am currently building another car, I originally bought this car to build into a rally car but have decided shortly after purchase that it was an absolute shame to break a car this clean, given that we would strip back to a bare shell and blast I decided to start with another damaged Evo 8 shell, this car is nearing completion and should be ready for the stages mid to end of April and unfortunately this immaculate 9 GT will be sold to help fund the engine build of the rally car. It would be my preference to keep it as these cars have gone from 15K a couple years ago to 20+ for a good one today. I have done less than 600 miles in her in total and therefore cannot afford to have 3 evos in my possesion as toys.

It will be sold with a fresh MOT for 1 year.

This car is absolutely stunning and the only bad points are as follows, small stone chips on front splitter and bumper, go pro mount fitted by previous owner which I have not got round to removing.

Aside from the above I am absolutely certain that this car is appreciating in value and had it not been for my Rallying addiction i would keep it in a bubble for the future.

The interiors alone from these cars sell for nearly 2000gbp and the rear diffs are also over 1500gbp, compared to 300gbp for the AYC diff from an EVO 9 MR. The gearbox's are also worth over 1500gbp compared to 200-300 for an MR gearbox as the RS diff and 5 speed setup is what most serious competition cars prefer given that the handling, durability and suitably for big power increases are there.

The GT is the real deal as far as evos go and is higher value than RS or MR..... check the forums or ask someone who knows.

Viewings are welcome and test drives also only by prior appointment and only on my private property. please call Fred on 07549930777.

Happy bidding and please do not hesitate to call me if you are serious, I have surely missed out something so happy to take your questions.

The car has been professionally detailed and waxed and does not move from month to month so mileage will not increase at all.

I would consider offers over 20 or p/x for a mk2 escort or rally car, NO modified road ****!!

This is the same car - please be aware I travelled from Ireland to view this car and had to come home again. Because there were no flights I had to stay in Aberdeen and come home the next day. Cost me a small fortune. It was an extremely poor example when I viewed it.

It also looks like it has had a new owner as I viewed the car in Elgin just before Christmas.

Shame to see but at least with threads like these potential buyers can be warned off.

Its the people that wont see these threads that will probably buy it based on the photos alone :(

I mind this was for sale a while back for £15,995 in elgin very close to where i live. I have to say im surprised its not very clean and weak underneath according to some folk especially since its an import. Ive not seen the car personally though. Never any mention of corrosion on previous mots but as we all know there are plenty stevie wonders doing dodgy mots.

Good luck, it's massive money being asked and the advert offers no info really regarding the car. It reads like a beginners guide to a GT and on this forum, most know all of this.

I would want to see a stack of paper work, detailed pics (not the creative shots) of the car and the underside and super low mileage. What is it BTW, unless I missed it?

I'd be wanting to know what's been done to it since it was for sale at £16k too? It's quite a hike in price.
