Avoid D1 spec like the plague!!!!!!! I bought a set of D1 spec for mine and they twisted while going onto the wheel, very poor quality!! Then none of them would come of! Biggest waste of money ever! I will be getting titanium ones for mine when i finally get new wheels :)

good job you told me i was just looking at them :smthumbup
:) I only got them because they were really cheap and have lots of different colours available, but they are very poor quality! :)
Sheesh I bought these wheels nuts as the Rota's were getting really tatty.

Put them on my car last week seem to be ok so far Soph but I'll be keeping an eye on them :smthumbup
The D1's are aluminium so will cross thread and be damaged quite easily. I have a set on mine and they are really light compared to OEM but with the lightness comes the possibility of damaging them due to the material.

I haven't had any problems with mine but anytime you take a wheel off its worth checking them to make sure they are still 100%.
I got these they have a fixed washer on the mating surface so don't bring the paint off the rims etc :smthumbup

It's not my fault they are expensive so don't shout at me!

I had 1 of these fail on me on my old evo 9. The wall of the nut split, so the allen key wouldn`t turn them.

the next owner of the car had the same problem, i`d avoid!!

PS if you do get them make sure you only hand tighten them using the supplied key. If you force them or use a gun the key may round as long as you are aware of this you will be fine :smthumbup

when i put my D1's on, 1 nut twisted on itself so it was totally unusable, all the others would barely fit and took us about 45 minutes to remove them! i felt very uncomfortable driving whilst they were fitted, if putting them on a car using barely hand force/torque wrench, imageon what the entire load of the car would do to them :cry: , had the standard ones put back on when i had my coilovers fitted! :(

Think the guy that fitted them said you need a different socket for these..as it was a neat fit to get the socket around the D1 he had to grind the socket to get it to fit properly. As this nut is a very neat fit to the Rota's he didn't want to mark the wheel as he was tightening it. :smthumbup

yeah iv had that feeling ever since i put the wheels on after reading about aluminium nuts. I just havent done anyting about it. Im goin to the nurburgring soon so i dont fancy a wheel coming off n pay £5000 to shut the track lol
