·I have heard from more than one source that it is (essential?) to have the EVO6 serviced by a qualified dealer.
The blurb from Mitsubishi and the advice from the LTR FAQ is that the MUT-II should be employed to actuate the valves in a certain manner in order to bleed the air from the system.
I have a friend, a garage owner and EVO owner, who says that it is not necessary to use the MUT-II when doing this and he now does all his own servicing. Apparently after visiting a Mitsi dealer, talking to the engineer and watching him service the car, the need for the MUT-II was not as high as he thought it would be and now doesn't use it.
What's the real score with servicing the AYC in the EVO6 please?
