(this could be opening a can of worms) Rich is mostly correct on the above post, but I doubt if you would get a dealer to write out a cheque for that much.
you could probably knock of another £1,500 if you just wanted them to buy it for cash.
Px would be another matter though.

Bit of a hi-jack whilst we're on car valuations....

Any clues on mine? Ralliart Evo VI silver, Nakamichi 6 CD in-dash autochanger, mats, sill protectors, driving lights, tasteful blue mud flaps, etc. October 2000, 24,000 miles.

Tyres and brake disks shagged, front wheels covered with melted pads - oops ;)

Going to flog it back to a dealer as I'm not sure when I'm leaving the country and don't want to sell it to anyone I know (brake warping problems)...

On the other hand, do I really want to know?

I'm watching this with interest - for obvious reasons (buying a 6 in the next 2 weeks).

Keep posting guys!!!

Jackal - Am I classed as a in the know buyer? - LOL

I might come and see your car if I am.

Chris,

What sort of service history do you have Mitsi Dlr-local garage-evo specialist-ralliart. and how often?

How many owners?
Where was the car bought from?
Is it X reg?
Any warranty left?
Whatever the value of the car is you will need to deduct between £1,500 to £2,000 to fix brakes and tyres

99 T Evo 6 in NI Autotrader this week for £16400, should appear in Top Marques soon.

I rang to see what was wrong with it, the owners says absolutely nothing.

Mmmm.

insBro - theres always a deal to be done ! Get in contact if you want to talk.

Chris - IMO your car is around the same money i reckon but deducting the cost of 1) a dealer to sort out disks and amp; wheels and 2) the bigger cost of a private seller to do it if a private sale.

Black Knight - sorry should have said, yes my dealer prices were in a PX to another car.

You wouldn't like the pay cut!!

|PLS| you have to deal with customers all day long. Strange bunch of people they are. Allways seem to want something for nothing!!

Not heard anything about it, doubt very much if Mitsi would bring them in,
I would think though that it would have AYC as std because of the centre diff allowing you to split power front to rear.

Does it say where they drove the car?

This is on a dealers website:

1999 V MITSUBISHI Lancer EVO 6 GSR , MET SILVER, 16000 mls WITH FULL RALLIART SERVICE HISTORY,1 CAREFUL PREVIOUS OWNER, F/FOGS,AYC,18 NEW TITANIUM ALLOYS/TYRES,RECENT SERVICE,KENWOOD STEREO,ALARM AND IMMOBILSER,TRACKER, USUAL EVO6 SPEC

Things to watch out for:

I've rang the dealer and this is the story:

The car is at Heathrow at the moment my partner is running it - One careful owner!
How many miles has it done 60,000 km or just over so it hasnt got a UK speedo then? no
I thought 60,000 km was just under 38000 miles! you can come and see it tommorrow after 11:30 if you like

I wonder if that means tomorrow it wiill have 16k miles?

Makes you wonder dont you think

guys - I should warn you - one of you mentioned an Evo for sale in NI. FYI a HPI check does NOT cover NI - there was a place in Reading selling cars (Trade Value Cars) that were write-offs from NI re-registered here, and thus HPI clear.

Please be careful when spending so much money that you are absolutely sure of the history - so many of these cars have been rallied etc.

Tony - def. NO ayc, ralliart did say they were doing them, basically a sprint with teh sprint stickers so will be an rs modded at Dudley with an hks put on it and amp; some proper seats like the 6 rs sprint. Still has the ACD in place of course.

From teh photos it must be the proving ground at millbrook where that massive jump is that they get air for all teh mag shots
