I can't believe it either everyone moans about the government and speed cameras etc.
When they get the chance to change it they vote the same tossers back in.
As for all you people who didn't vote...Shame on you, people have died to give you a vote and you couldn't be arsed.
Don'y complain about the government ever again!

No, they won with more votes. They also won more seats and that's why they form our new Government.scoop said:That is bizzare isn't it, they won with less votes
seems not all votes are equal in our democracy.
It would pay for anyone thinking along the same lines you are to educate themselves about our political system, perhaps then you could vote for someone who is prepared to do something about electoral reform and then you wouldn't feel so hoodwinked every four years.

To be honest it speaks volumes of the opposition leader, I've not seen a leader of the conservative party worth putting any hope in.
I think a lot of people are scared of changes that a new government may make which could effect them financially. Record levels of debt and the fine line a lot of people are walking between comfort and financial tragedy mean people want things to stay as they are.

how 36% of the votes form a goverment ?? we should move to a better system and make it a must that you have to vote . even by text . more people voted for pop idol than tony blair . are system needs a big reform . what is also upsetting is a shift of votes to the BNP taking a 9% rise in numbers votin g for them . under the labour goverment i had to pay for my own operation £4600 of it . or face a 16 week wait for a consultation then another for a op. what a joke !!!!
