·Just got back from Well Lane.
Trevor thanks a lot for organising things and getting everyone together in one location.
The Rolling Road at Well lane was giving some very inconsistant results. Kevin's makinen went from 250BHP to 340BHP just by sitting a few people in it. And Ian's E6 went from 240 to 340 on the second go. OK I know that the air temp could have changed etc but not to gain 100BHP. the cars were not exactly fastened down very well and you could see that the rear wheels were lifting off the rollers. The operators came up with some very novel and strange reasons about camber being affected when more weight was added????
Anyway peak power for mine was 299BHP on the second go with 2 people in the boot (car is identical to Ian's except for the Rear box which can't be worth 40BHP). i'm happy with nearly 300BHP anyway but would have liked to see some consistancy throughout the day.
Max from RC developments had a very nice 6 that put out 370BHP, which agrees ish with other roller he's been on. I'm going to post the actual print outs when i figure out how to do it.
On a closing note I would not let well lane anywhere near my car again, and am going to try a different RR soon to set the car up on properly.
