I just bought the High Flow 255 intank Walbro Fuel Pump, but read that it can overfuel, my car has been mapped by gems already without this done so will it take care of this ? or will i have 2 get it remapped ?

The gist of things are that if you have the Walboro you'll need a new fuel reg too to deal with the increased flow.

It would probably be beneficial from a power point of view to remap at some point but I've got a Walboro and a Sard reg on a standard ECU and they all work fine together.

the idea of the sard is its ajustability you can fine tune it so the pumps never going to be to big so you can back the sard off and let the pressure back to the tank!but running a walbro on its own would probably be to much

Not quite true. Best option is to get your fuelling checked with a wideband lambda sensor and then see if you need a regulator or not. Chances are that you probably won't need one IMHO.

Hi evo330,

I'm running a Power Enterprise 255 l/h fuel pump with a Ralliart Sports ECU running 1.4 to 1.5 bar boost.
Bought an HKS fuel pressure regulator but haven't needed to fit it as according to G-Force the fueling is spot on with the standard regulator.
As Andy says get the fueling checked, no point spending money if you don't need to. :)

Cheers
Gary
