Have you got the USB cable that connects to the ECU (to the cable in your photo)? If so you can download the free ViPec software and check what is on the ECU with their PC software. There are base maps available but these require various "calibrations" and checks before it is safe to try starting the car. The ViPec support (now Link) guys are also very helpful on their forum.
