It is better to change to an uprated clutch when power is increased to 300|PLS|hp.
Anybody has got any suggestion as to what clutch to go for eg. Ralliart, APRacing formula clutch with cerametallic faced driven plates, Six paddle Helix clutch and any others.

My VI is producing 330 BHP and running a standard clutch , so far without a problem , but survival of the standard clutch is greatly influenced by the driver.....need I say morehttp://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > Torque is the clutch killer , and torque will increase dramatically when the turbo is uprated , this is when an uprated clutch is essential.
My choice will be the Quarter Master V-Drive Rally clutch at around £500.
Twin metallic plates and lightwieght alloy housing , a very high quality piece.
U simply ask for the appropriate torque capacity for yr application and it just takes it......I'm going for 500 ftlb.
