I have a new set of wheels on the way and hence having to say good by to my wonderful metallic Black SSR FQ330 that I have used daily for the last 8 years. I bought it when the original owner got enticed to a Porsche and my knees couldn't handle the twin plate on the old VII.
The car is stock and original. No new panels and no tuning mods other than the original FQ330 mods and black painted wheels. I had the bonnet re-painted a year or so back to tidy up the proverbial stone chips but it has never been in a prang or had any visits into the geography.
SST 6 speed Flappy Paddle spec includes the Air Con, Sat Nav and Rockford-Fosgate stereo. fantastic condition Recaro bucket seats and there has never been any kids in the back! The X has had new floating discs with my choice of Ferodo DS3000 front and DS2500 rear pads for excellent progressive balanced road use.
This car has never been on a track or to a sprint (unlike the old VII!).
So it is a 2008 with approx. 98k miles. Tracker with both keys and fobs.
It has been maintained variously by AMS in Arnside (famed for their prep of the top Evo's in the Scottish Rally Championship) who does the big jobs like the renewed solenoids and AYC pump; and also regular service items by my rally mechanic at AJL Autos; plus some Main Stealer bits for the early services and warranty stuff.
The car is HPI clear and never had finance and is taxed and Mot'ed this summer. Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1, great in the wet and very sensible as my daily driver!
