My car was serviced on friday and they informed me that I have no tread on the inside edge of my front tyres.I had a look and it is pretty excessive. The car has Eibach lowering springs and that is it.I was wondering if anyone one else had come across this problem and if there is something that can be done.
Also I had a nightmare getting some new Bridgestone tyres,I eventually got 2 SO2s from a dealer in Northampton his last 2.Bridgestones main supplier has not had any since November.Has anyone else had problems getting hold of any?

Mine did the same.(after about 5k miles)

I put it down to the previous owner using the power stering too much, as when replaced the new tyres have lasted 8k miles so far with no uneven wear. If it's done it in a very low milage get the tracking and castor/camber checked. You'll have to find a specialist though as everything is variable and most Quick Fit type places only do the tracking. Not sure what the settings should be but I'm sure someone out there has the figures tucked away somewhere. I'll check my workshop manual when I get home.

I had extreme (read: through to the carcass!) wear on my fronts like that when the tracking was shot to bits. Now the alignement is spot on I don't think I'll have any more bother
