After moving from 195/60R14 to 205/45R16, I'm wondering what pressures to use.

Do you go higher, lower or stick to the recommended setting when fitting wider, lower profile tyres?

I'm not entirelt sure on this but I think you should keep them the same. The tyre presures are based a lot on the weight the tyre is having to hold up.
I suppose in theory you could go lower as there is less tyre to 'squish' but you may find the steering responses become duller.
Best bet is probably to start with the standard and try adjusting them to suit your driving. I always tend to add a coupe of extra pounds as the extra presue in the tyres makes the rubber squirm less and sharpens up the steering responses.
Hope that helps.. (And I hope someone who knows mo than me posts something about this http://www.ltregister.force9.co.uk/graphics/Happy.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle >
