I have decided to try a set of A048 for the summer and track days, and to save me messing around with pressures (track day this Wednesday :naughty: ) what should I use for the A048 once up to temp

They seem to feel better at higher pressures, but don’t want to rip the middle out of them :blah:

Tyre size is 235/45 17 on a VIII :D

Cheers

I have only done a few hundred miles on them so far, but they feel as responsive as the A046 (I have had a set of PS2s on for the winter).

For normal road use they are very noisy, and the PS2 is a far superior tyre for the day to day stuff, but I lost the feedback I used to get with the 46s, and now the summer is here I thought I would give either the 048 or the 888 a go and I got a good deal on the 48 so I went for them.

Not much help I know..

Yes same all round. Obviously depending on the circuit keep an eye on how much the tyres are rolling and adjust the pressure to suit. Also I'm generally in an RS set up rather than a lardy GSR.

Having said that my pressures are set for ultimate grip rather than most efficient tyre wear. :)

Cheers for that, I will have a play on Wednesday now I have got somewhere to start from. Im not fussed about wear hopefully they will last the summer and a couple of track days, will probably go to full slicks after that.

Thanks
Si
