Hi there

Do you use a turbo timer for the Evo6 ?
If so, which turbo timer do you recommend ? I am thinking about the Greddy version.
Is there a special harness needed and what's a good place to buy it ?

Thank you

Turbo timers are techically illegal in the UK as you are leaving a running vehicle unattended but you would be VERY unlucky to be prosecuted for it.

I think the need for a turbo timer depends on your situation and how careful you are. My typical daily journey involves a slow driving period towards the end in both directions (below 3000rpm for at least 5 - 10 minutes but usually more) so I do not need a timer. Of course it is when you have an exception of a hard drive before you come to stop that a turbo timer will have an advantage (track days particularly). Personally I don't need one as I am prepared to wait while the turbo cools in these cases.

I think turbo timers are fairly easy to fit but I will let others answer that question.
