It was more expensive to get from kent to london than it was to go from kent to amsterdam.. WTF !?!

Train from Braintree to Melton Mowbray is £8.60 return if you book 7 days in advance...I thought that was pretty good for about 100miles

the last time i went to london, got the tickets early and doncaster to kings cross return for £19.00, i was well shocked, but there are only a handfull of tickets at this price on selected trains

my travel to london costs me 3k a year, thats about £12 a day to get to work and back. Shame i cant earn better money near home and drive the evo everyday

Trick is never to travel by train took me 11 hours to get to middle of wales once and part of that had to be by taxi cos they fooked up! Thought it my be a one off but it took me 13 hours to get back!!!!! The only saving grace was being stuck in a taxi for two hours with an Italian exchange student :angel:

Bring back British Rail! Thats what you get for privatising the railways and letting all these robbing franchises and Tocs (Train Operating Companies) come in. Then the first thing they do is to buy the shittiest cheapest plastic 'trains' ( I use the word loosely , a train should be a Locomotive hauling some proper carriages , not an underfloor engined plastic rubbish multiple unit thing) from Siemens , Pendolino ect and they dont work worth a shite. Only GNER are decent , and maybe thats because they use ex BR trains , IC125 and 225 , built in this country. Get rid of Branson and his 'Virmin' West coast franchise for a start.
