Its not necessary to have track wheels, best to just get a decent Helmet, long sleeves / etc as per the trackday requirements.
1st thing to do is book an Instructor and get a few laps in, learn the circuit with them and then enjoy the day.
Take your time and warm up / cool down the car, see if you like it.
If after all of that its good, get some spares / wheels whatever you need - don't do it up front.
Just make sure your tyres are in good condition before the day because they will wear the more you push it.
