I want to know from who uses theirs EVOs for racing, trackdays and hill climbs what is the alignment setup that you use.
I want to try something different and more tail happy than the original setup specially regarding the Toe settings.
I'm thinking about keeping zero Toe all around. What do you think about? Will it oversteer too much?

Cheers

Ipe,

Here's my track settings:
Camber F -2.5, R -1.5
Toe: parallel all round
Camber: factory settings

I haven't tried the parallel rear toe on track yet as its just been adjusted, but with parallel front toe and -1 at the rear it was still a bit understeery.

Just don't go toe out at the rear as it gets twitchy, esp if you back off mid bend

Great Steve. That is what I'm thinking to do. I'm just worried because I probably won't have time to set it and then chance it if it's not good.

Here's mine:

Front
Camber: -1.8
Toe: Zero
Caster: whatever the chassis wants

Rear
Camber: -1.2
Toe: 1 degree toe out
Caster: same as fronts

Feels better and still easy to catch if you lose it a bit. But my driving style is brake all I want BEFORE entering corner, neutral throttle at turn-in, then flooring it right at or a bit after the apex.

Some guys like to trail-brake and get the tail out a bit so this set-up might not work for them as methinks it will get twitchy, not funny when its a fast, long sweeper at 120-140kmh and minimal run-off. Especially if your hands and head aren't quick, like me. :) Hence the driving style.

Your driving style should suit your wheel alignment specs as well mate. :)

I did mine with zero toe all around and - 3'30" of camber at the fronts and - 2'05" at the rears.

The car was very neutral at the Hillclimb event that I participated, but I wish it was a little more tail happy at these kind of event because I think I could've negociated the slow corners better.
I think to achieve a more tail happy setup from what I have I need to put some toe out at the rear. What do you think?

You could try a bit of toe at the rear but maybe no more than 1mm - I tried that and found it a bit twitchy (and ended up facing backwards on track once  ). Or else take 0.5 deg camber off the rear which might make it a bit more progressive than the toe out option.
