Still looking for red TME Evo 6.5
Been to seen 2 good red TME's today at dealers...
Ebay car in leicester and a V reg in yorkshire.... both good, nothing major wrong that I can see - just a few minor issues so not for me..... just not good enough.
So if you have a red TME that you are or maybe selling..... and have seen either or both of these cars and yours is better.... then please give me a call or e-mail...
Cash waiting for very good or excellent red TME.....

What were the issues just so potential sellers know what to offer. You have to take into consideration these cars are now 15 years old so never going to be perfect IMO.
However judging by the prices advertised you would expect a car as / like new.. (Kicking myself now as had the chance to buy a good honest UK 51 reg Makinen a few years ago for £9k and left it ! Ended up with a 8MR instead)

Condition is very subjective and it would be wrong of me to list what I thought was wrong....
Someone else will love these cars and no doubt buy them both!
They are just not 'good enough' for me.
Perfect, or very nearly perfect cars do exist - just sold a 19 year old ERSC and that was bang on.......

I've seen the one in Leicester advertised locally but not actually seen it in the flesh.
fair enough. The issue here is you are looking to 15 y/o Jap imports and although they have less rust / low mileage etc etc there is a heavy car scene there so cars get modified then things get put back to stock. Some are raced / rallied so some of the cars are not comparable to a 15 y/o car say if you were buying a UK spec car that someone has had from new, cherished and kept garaged.
Such cars probably do exist in japan aswell but no doubt will be big £££££

and a thanks to a fellow member on here for some fantastic advise ref TME's and allowing me to prod & poke his TME whilst on ramps - so useful.
A few recent red TME have not been 'good enough' for me...so if you have a UK or more likely import RED TME - let me know...
quite preparred to pay £20K + for the right model - but its got to be right....

DCY have another one I think that isn't for sale yet...it's under prep. Give him a call to confirm. But I'm sure I've read it somewhere.
