Someone on the US Galant VR4 website seems to think this comes from an evo 2. Does anyone know if this type of box was fitted to evo 1-3?

I think I've also seen this box with an electrical actuator on some website somewhere.

Hi,
Don't know where that came from but it's not from any of the Evo's.
The mind boggles at the many different variations of the W5M3 transmission!!.

I checked out that site with the switchable trannies

I had heard of a mate of mates who had a old 4g63 vr4 and that he had it in FWD for a while to put it on the local dyno. I am just pressuming that he had that switchable ombination

Would love to get my hands on a switchable gearbox and transfer case (pressume that both are needed to switch FWD/4WD

I am almost 100% sure that were never fitted to any evo at all
