·Recently, while driving to a mates, I had a strange problem while in mid-turn, basically what had happened is that the steering became much harder to control, it was like the steering was being forced to the right. Had to fight the steering to go straight. After straightening out i heard what sounded like the suspension spring making a springing kind of sound from the front left wheel, and all was fine afterwards. This has happened twice now, both when turning right hard, nearly full lock. I thought the spring had popped out of its mounts or something (I know a moderate amount about cars...still learning u see
) and then popped back in again. Can anybody explain what is happening. What if i jacked up the car and removed the wheel, what should i check for damage or anything?? It drives perfectly fine now though, just got worried after the second occurance.
Also several months ago i lost control and put the same wheel on the kerb quite hard, but that was abotu 6 or so months before this occured, couldn't be related could it.
Thanx for any help
