Has anyone encountered their gas pedal sticking to the floor?

I have checked/lub'd the cable/ return spring and amp; checked carpet wasnt stuck:D
Any takers?

Bloody hell...It happened to me too! I thought that the pedal had got stuck under the floor mat but I'm 99% certain that the throttle cable had got stuck.

I was overtaking on the motorway with my foot to the floor, when I lifted of the gas the car just kept accelerating http://www.lancerregister.com/graphics/embarassed1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > I put the clutch down but the car kept bouncing of the rev limiter!!! If this had of happened in my scooby then the big ends would of let go!

Got back home and checked everything but there was nothing to be seen...Strange
