Hi guys i'v got my engine stripped at the min its got hks cam's in how can i tell if its got uprated spring and retainer's in? Also its got hks stamped on the cam's how can you tell what profile they are as i can't see any number's? Regard's steve.

not many people fit up rated springs with hks 264 or 272 , 10.8 isnt stamped on the cams . iirc theres a number stamped on either the end face on exh cam where the cam sensor disc bolts on or other end on the upper edge near the first bearing face .

264 and 272 lift 10.8 inlet and 10.2 exh

Oh right just wanted make sure it had't got them before i buy some as it will be reving high as going with the long rod.. cheers anyway mate

Both 264/272 have inlet lift 10.8mm exhaust lift 10.2mm, both also do not req use of uprated springs. As with most cams markings are rare, best way is to measure them just to be 100% sure
