With rpm you need a dual spring . If you see a slow motion pic of springs in action the lofting and nose pressure multiples with rpm . We ran 11,000rpm last year and the dual springs were just capable of holding the vales under control .

Inertia is a massive onsideration @ high rpm's and the reduction can have profound effects on power .

In simple terms, you only need enough valve spring to control the valve motion at the RPM that you wish to run. Anything more and you are robbing precious horse power. Other things do come into play and more information is required before and real recommendation can be made.
