Same thing. Although the Sports ABS is supposed to start functioning alter than normal ABS.

CAn anybody confirm that you can alter the ABS kick in time?

According to some brochures, the new Sport ABS is getting reading from more sensors than the previous one. I guess, they are now using a steering angle sensor for the calculations which apparently wasn't the case before.

And I think the ABS ECU also takes an input from the G-force sensors, and it might share some info with the AYC ECU.

if it does use the g force sensor then this would be better than going by wheel slip as different amounts of slip produce the best stopping time ie on gravel you want more slip, tramac less

i seem to recall seeing a connection in the wiring diagrams

it does appear to work better on gravel (where i drive a bit) than most cars where abs is premature

interesting concept
