Hi Lads,

I was wondering, I if splice a volt gauge into the wire from pin 53 (evo 7 ecu) would I be able to read the moment the sas solenoid is being activated? It recently stopped working after working just fine. I reckon this being a easy way to find out if the solenoid is being activated or not..

Cheers!

Yes you could; the gauge (meter might be better) will read 12V ish until the solenoid is activated it will then read a few volts

If you want to test the solenoid just ground the brown wire - ignition on, engine not running

If I ground the brown wire, will I hear the solenoid? Or how will I know its being activated?
