Seems a few of us are staying at the Breckland lodge Attleborough.I won't get their untill about 7pm so Im up for food at night on the saturday .Why not meet at the lodge, hey sounds like the masons.no tricky hand shakes for me.
Yep, seems there will be quite a few of us there. Shorty, I'll try to get there a bit earlier than originally planned for a chin wag and a pint. I'm in the spare car (again), but this time with Yoko AO38R's which stick like **** to a blanket in the dry
me and my dad (Baljit) will be coming along as spectators from the West London area any one want a convoy??
could someone please let me know where it is exactly, what time will you guys be setting off from the B and amp;B as we could meet you there in the mourning before you leave for the track.
Paul and amp; Steve, how bout some passenger laps???
I'll be heading over early on the Saturday evening from Kent (staying at the Breckland), anyone interested in convoying? I'll be there as a spectator just to get an idea of what this trackday lark is all about before I put a foot in the water! Hopefully I'll be able to blag a passenger ride or two.
Who's staying at the Breckland or nearby and wants to meet up for a beer/food on the Saturday evening?
Croz, I'll be setting off from Kent about 5ish if you wanna join up. Drop me a mail. Most people I've spoken to (incl. me) are staying in the Breckland so best place for food 'n' ale is at the Lodge. Bring your skid lid and a fiver for the passenger fee!
Yellow 5, e-mail or phone Darin to see if places left and get a cheque off pronto! If not, come along and blag some rides with us.
I shall be leaving the Medway area about 4pm in an old orange Mk1 Escort. This is to allow plenty of time for expected breakdowns. I have , after all, only just finished fitting most of the running gear!
If you other Kent boys see me don't forget to sound your horn (and/or point and snigger if I'm on the hard shoulder!)
This will be my first time driving one of my cars on a track so I hope I don't hold too many people up. Next time I'll be in something faster.
It will be nice to put faces to names and perhaps talk about a Kent natter night. I will also be open to suggestions/critisicms about the web site.
I should be at the Breckland eventually. Having now driven the old Escort I'm finding the prospect of a trip over 10 miles, how shall we say, daunting!! It's damn loud, handling twitchy and brakes scary. I must be getting old! Still, as long as it makes it to the track, the AA can always get it back if need be. On the brighter side, the old girl does do about 40mpg!!! (No, it's not an 1100)
