Hi Guys,

Slip&Grip Automotive are sponsoring the guest class in the MLR Sprint Series this year and hopefully the foreseeable future so I thought I would tell you all a bit about what we do.

Our company consists of three main things but first and foremost my girlfriend Peggy and I are passionate about all things performance and retro and I'd like to think that reflects in the passion we have for what we do. I started my passion watching the racing at Castle Combe from a small boy and petrol has run in my blood ever since.

Slip&Grip Automotive started as a Facebook group for South-West based car enthusiasts but specifically focusing on retro and performance cars, we wanted to avoid Morrisons car park meets, loud speakers and big body kits, we believe those days are long gone. This is a group that has gained 1300 members in under a year due to the popularity of our local events. The members Facebook group grow on a daily basis and it's a central hub for owners of all types of retro and performance cars to ask and give advice as well as share thoughts and ventures. We also focus on good local business helping our members and visa versa.

The second part of Slip&Grip Automotive are our events. We offer Trackdays at the likes of Goodwood and Castle Combe throughout the year at great prices with limited numbers and plenty of track time. We hire a tarmac rally stage fit for road cars several weekends a year for camping and for people to run up the stage. Alongside these paid events we off a monthly breakfast meet at AV8 Café, Cotswold airport on the 3rd Sunday. And we do the odd evening meet and karting at M4 Karting.

Finally having owned and sold over 70 cars in ten years from classic Alfa Romeo's to full spec track cars I thought it about time I bought and sold cars on a professional level. With a background in sales and marketing as well as customer service I pride myself in offering an excellent service alongside professional marketing of the vehicle I sell. We specialise in classic, retro and performance cars because that's what we know and love. Not only do we hold our own stock of hand picked cars, we also sell customers cars on a commission basis at great rates. So if you can't be dealing with the hassle of selling your pride and joy or just simply don't have the time then we can certainly help you from start to finish. Our commission sales include professional pictures and written advert and dealing with potential buyers from start to finish, all you need to do is hand the keys to us and we will hand you back the money you were asking for the car. So far all our commission sales have sold within a week and we plan to keep that up.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks for your support no matter what you drive.
