when I replaced the clutch in my 5 I was going to have the flywheel skimmed but was advised against it.

I replaced it with a fidanza which is lightened and has a replaceable clutch mating surface. :mitsi:

you need the evo 7/8/9 5 speed clutch mate... also if the flywheel has never been skimmed before then its o.k to do so. I have done this in the past but only a light skim ;)

thanks all it helped me alot.

i guess ill just get a new HKS evo6 flywheel

what performance difference will i gain to get the lightened hks flywheel?

i had a evo 7 flywheel in there before but now putting a evo 6 hks flywheel in. what is the difference between them? will i get any power/torque loss?

thanx again
