Had my 9,000 miler yesterday at Station Garage (in the fine city of Aberdeen) - bill is :

Labour £100.00 (standard Mitsu ?)
Oil ATF £5.80 (dunno what that is http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/embarassed1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >)
Synthetic Oil £40.00 (type unspecified)
Gasket Drain £0.43
Oil Filter £6.82
AYC Oil £14.54
Service Kit £3.90
Screenwash £1.76 (amazing how you can make a single fill last 4,500 miles [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >)
Brake de Dust £2.79 (sounds like a Dutch footballer [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >)

VAT £30.81

Total £206.85 [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/sad1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

How does this compare with other parts of the country ?

Also, here are a few impressions of Station garage :

BAD

1) Courtesy car had barely a drop of petrol in it
2) The place is a bugger to get to (although I didn't investigate a Torphins drop off)
3) They don't appear to be able to accomodate early / late drop off / pick up
4) Having asked them to sort my water ingress problem, I reckon they just tinkered with it (ok, they didn't charge but its gonna mean that I have to make another hellish journey there in the near future)
5) Having asked them to sort my water ingress problem, and them apparently tinkering, they didn't see fit to mop up the puddle on the back floor
6) They apparently don't take AMEX yet they have a sign on the door that says they do

GOOD

1) Lady at service reception seems reasonably clued-up and eager to please
2) Feedback from mechanic (via lady at service reception) good (e.g. strange report code from AYC might mean I had a blow-out - and sure enough, I did a wee while ago)
3) They washed the car without asking (aye, and it was filthy [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/laugh1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >)
4) Test drive only put six miles on the car (as opposed to Andersons who seemed to need a 40|PLS| mile test drive ! [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > )
5) Proper check-list ticked and signed stapled to the receipt
6) No sign of the arrogance we used to know and hate at Andersons

Eric I would have to say Station Garage are very good. I know the General Manager and he is as sound as they come, the lady you probably spoke to was Fiona Gill and she is very nice, if you ever have any problems she is the one to call. The Ralliart Mechanic is also **** hot and knows his stuff (as he should). They are still fairly new to the ralliart game but give them time and I am sure that we will be seeing a lot more Evos(unfortunately for the likes of us)in the Granite City. They are going to expand so this should overcome the parking problem and I know what you mean about the hire cars, just enough fuel to get to Tesco. I should know I am stuck with on for the next 3 weeks. Just out of interest how many other evo owners do you know, the only ones I know are 3 guys from my work and then there are only about 2 others I have seen about town.

I was going the other way, so the 1st opportunity for me was the Hacket **** http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

I only really know one (who's got a stage 1'd silver VI) and I only met him a couple of weeks ago when I started a new job.

There's a guy on the 'yahoogroups' list who's in Aberdeen and (I think) works for DnV. From memory, his is blue and he lives up North (Ellon or the likes). There's at least one other on there who's from the NE.

I see a few round about - like the one at the new flats on Riverside Drive near the Brig o' Dee and the one that's always parked outside the kitchen showroom in Culter (I live oot the road towards Bunkry).

I'd read your 'Danger' thread before but hadn't realised you were a local loon. If you fancy a pint sometime, I'm your man - [email protected]

It occurs to me, what kind of place do you work at with four Evo's in the car park ? ? ? (well three at the moment I suppose [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >) It must either be an employer with a huge head count or a very lucrative business [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

A friend with a black ST205 GT4 in Aberdeen says he has come across a few VIs and even had a 'spirited drive' along the South Deeside Road with a blue (I think) VI about 6 months ago.

Hi Eric was down at Station Garage today to collect a couple of things from my car http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/Sad.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle >, good news is that the parts should be here by the end of next week. As far as the company we work for, it's Halliburton so I guess the head count is big with 150,000 employees.

When I was down at Station garage I was told that there is a guy in Aberdeen with a TME and he is bringing it in for its 1000 mile service. I will have to find out when that is as I would be quite interested in seeing it in the flesh. Just out of interest I was told that it only has wind-up windows and is quite basic inside, could they be getting mixed up with the RSX ?

I will have to take you up on a beer sometime and I'll bring along one of the guys from work who has an E6. Just on another note it would be good to get to know the other people in and around Aberdeen that have Evos as I am sure there are some hints and tips that we all have that can be passed on.

I had the 18,000 mile service carried out on my Evo V a couple of months back. Service seemed good, and I couldn't fault Station garage. Didn't get my car washed though, even though I had to come all the way down from Caithness! As far as I'm aware, I have the only Evo up this far north.
