Hi,

Can anyone recommend a garage / dealer in or around Cambridge / North Herts to carry out servicing on my standard VI GSR ?
Just having a search of the forum archive shows Mantles in Letchworth & Marshalls in Cambridge having 'nil points' and Ware doing an awful lot better...

Are there any other local places or am I better off going to Ware for my servicing. I don't mind paying dealer prices, providing the service is spot on

Yes, that was the first place I looked at following a search on Autotrader....

A large selection of evo 4,5,6 & 7's (including a nice yellow 5 and a TM) and some other rapid motors too.

From my experience when I visited their place in Harlow a lot of the evos appear to be straight off the boat, rather than specific imports or 'previous uk owner' cars.

A few things put me off, mainly the fact that they liked to give the cars some serious welly when they had only been running for a minute or so - no warm up time at all. And the four cars I tried had very little petrol (low fuel light came on instantly), so god knows what crap was being sucked up from the tank when they were given some stick
