Who fancies a meet at Crail on the above date. Meet up beforehand, travel in a moderately paced convoy and have some fun!!!

Count me in http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Not being able to make such illustrious events as Castle Combe I'm up for anything I can get to!

I'll try and drum up some interest elsewhere too.

I am interested http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > where are the meeting places ?

I cross the Forth bridge on the way up so can stop at McD's if anyone wants to meet there.

Brian, that would be ideal...we'll arrange a time later on, but I suspect around 09:00ish would be fine at MacD's
Drop me a note offline so I can contact you nearer the time. Where are you 'based'? I'm in West Lothian.

Chunky, the Scottish get-together for ideas on events will be soon, I'll contact Gavin next week, when he is back from his holidays and arrange a time and place, hopefully to suit all.
I'm just waiting on Darin to answer my mail, about how we can contact members north of the northern section.

Spanpody is an old school friend (hello Brian!) and is West Lothian too, I'll prolly catch you both at South Queensferry McDs.

As I said, there'll hopefully be a couple of others interested in coming along, I'll get in touch tonight and see.

The Scooby guys are organising a wee get together this weekend. I'll probably go along as they usually are a good day.

If anyone's up for it lets organise a place to meet.

We are on for this event. If you are travelling from south of the Forth Bridge, meet at the Mac D's at around 09:30, for breakfast and a blether. We'll be leaving here at around 10ish, heading for Kinross services, where we will meet up with the Northern people, MLR and SIDC along with the [email protected] (nutter bunch!!) Then heading to Crail via some scenic routes getting there in time for the wet-T contest.

Will you guys be there until the bitter end (17:00) ?

The reason I ask is that on Sunday 'when I'm on my way, tae my home in Aberdeen' (Northern Lights reference) if I was passing before five, I'd call in - but only if yooos were likely to be there.

Eric, we would probably be there around that time. If the clutch holds out and there is still plenty of eye candy??

Himmin - you could blend in up here in sheep-land without a problem. Nobody will suspect as long as you remember to adjust the old personal hygiene habits accordingly http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Oh aye and don't forget to ditch the shell suit !

(Question : Scotec, Hydra-tight or Headless Perverts ?)

Hydratight initially, then the mighty Mach-Ten. I left before they could assimilate me!

On a more car-related note, who is actually planning to go the 1/4 mile?

If you are, remember to bring a helmet and MOT certificate (if applicable).

Helmit??? MOT????? What's all that about?

Is it changed days since I've last been up there??

G

Hmmm, only going on what they say about trackdays (I assume 1/4 mile shots are included) on their website and from experience with similar events.

Doesn't bother me either way!

The 'helmet' policy is only for the trackdays. No such requirements for the 1/4 mile. I wouldn't like to use crail supplied helmets with some of the folk that would be there at the weekend. Although nova'boy is equally protected with his cap on back to front!!

OK, I reckon you're right about Novaboy. Most of 'em are big enough helmets already, if you know what I mean http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Any word if there's a wet t-shirt compy on Sunday? Mrs Chunky is havering about attending, this might the straw that breaks the camel's back!
