SANTA POD JAP MEET:
If you fancy racing your car up Santa pod drag strip and recording the 1/4 mile time, or just meeting up to see some raw mota's. Then join us on 14th April. We hope to get loads of Jap cars to go, standard or modified. We have between us an EVO 6 and an impreza WRX STI V5 and are looking to get into the 12 seconds!!.

We normally get to santapod around 10:00am, Were from Crawley and meet at pease pottage service station at 07:30am sharp. Then at South Mimms service station on the M1 at around 08:15 - 08:30 ish or meet up at Santa Pod.
You must hold a valid driving license and take this with you. No crash helmet is needed. It is £8 per person to get in and £10 per car if you wish to use the 1/4mile strip as many times as possible, normally around 5-6times.
There is loads of parking and plenty of greasy food. There is normally loads of different machines including dragsters, bikes, go-karts, vans, mo-peds, go-peds and also some **** in a Volvo estate...

If it is ####ing down they don't let any cars run, but it's dried of with a space heater in about 1hour if the rain stops.

Hi Mazyb,

Just to let you know, myself (I run Japukmeets) and Alexis from the GTiR club are organising this outing. The day at Santa Pod itself is a normal run what ya brung but we're making this a biggie.

Because of our connections with the GTR and Supra club we normally get quite a few cars for this. I will post more details about it next week because it does depend on weather as well.

All weather reports have been checked out and they show clear, dry conditions for Santa Pod tomorrow. Hopefully you can all make it.

8.30am we leave from South Mimms (J23 M25)
9am we arrive at Toddington Services (M1)
Leave by 9.15am to arrive at Santa Pod by 10am

Bring your Driver's Licence if you want to race your car.
