·I have a 5 which have had both airbags explode (purchased it that way).
I have been told to replace the bags (obviously), the CLOCKSPRING, the SRS computer, and a SENSOR. ???
This is what I think. Replace bags and reset the SRS computer (sensor is in it). Resetting the computer should fix the dash warning light as well. Resetting is done by a MUT ? Is that some strange tool/computer ?
I think the worse thing that could happen is that the bags won't go off when required (unless I go and short something whilst installing, and then I am a dead man).
