Looking for some friendly advice. Looking to change the stock suspension of my evo 8 for a coil over set up that would be very good in track but comfortable on the street. I use my evo 50% track and 50% street.....and want a set up that won't break my back.....yet performs in the track?
Sharing your experience would be appreciated.

These TEIN Superstreet will be OK I reckon:

Rich is a trustworthy guy too and won't be selling old tat

Whatever you get it will be a minefield/compromise really as for the above requirement you are better off spending £1800 on Ohlins DFV to be honest. You gonna get what you pay for. My local specialist MitsiArt recommend XYZ and they are about a Grand fitted. I'd avoid cheap BC's and the like as they are OK for track but not good for B roads with potholes apparently.

Another option is stick with the OEM suspension which is not cheap (Bilstein) anyway and get some stiffer/lower springs from TEIN or Eibach, etc?

At your budget, you can get into a set of brand new MeisterR GT1 also.
Willing to say one of the best suspension you can get, and it will be brand new with a warranty.

It will be nice on the road, but responsive on the track.
The main thing that the GT1 do is really iron out those small vibration you get when you drive on the motorway, really makes the car alot nicer to drive.
