rear noise

iv got a new noise from the rear of my car now. it is only noticable on idle. then i cant hear it when driving. the diff has been whining for the last couple of times of driving. now this!! it sounds like a knocking noise/ ultrasound heart beat noise??!!? i put my head in the boot and its around the diff but i cant hear it from outside the car. any help would be great. :smthumbup

Did u check to make sure the exhaust isn't vibrating on the underside of the car? Just an idea mate
