Had me a rally day today, and although it started nice and dry, it decided to p**s it down! so made for good slippy sliding.

plus I broke one of their evo's....I snapped the driveshaft :angel: , so it was out of commision for the rest of the day. Others then had to make do with a scooby

Was that near Loughborough ?.... if so ive done that day was superb fun....came first as well with 145/150 ....got marked down for 1 hand powersliding in the old 4wd cossie ...prob not there now as was on its last legs back then

yeah it was a prestwold hall near luff...there was no cossie unfortunately, instead we had the polo's I think.

each drive was out of 100, I managaed to get 96/100 in the 205. 97/100 in the polo and 98/100 in the evo....probably dropeed the 2 for knackering the driveshaft :blush: :crackup:

Oooh thats the one I'm doing, did you have the full or half day was it good fun, did you learn much?

it was only the half day unfortunately, but it was quite informative...the instructors were giving tips on braking points and turning points etc

Definately gonna have to use Bex car then as a back to back comparison

I have always thought an RS would feel a lot more natural to drive, what did you reckon????

it was strange because it was very very wet...but it did grip well, and was fairly controllbale...in fact I can only remember breaking traction once.

I remember having real trouble with the left hand drive one, and then i got in the right hand drive later and seat was too far back so couldnt reach pedals properley! ...still had fun though and nearly spun in it coming into final right hander ....got some vid somewhere will dig it out
