Ralliart Lancer v's Evo X

I use my 2010 Lancer Ralliart GS as my daily. I chose it over an Evo X as it's far more practical, but now running 400bhp/360lbft. The Evo X turbo upgrade was done by C-TEC Performance, Nortech Performance and G-R Performance.

The fuel pump is the same as the Evo X and doesn't need changing to get to 400bhp.
The cams are exactly the same in the Evo X and Ralliart.
The SST is different in the Ralliart, but only with the 5th & 6th gears, for higher top speed and economy. The controller firmware is easily upgraded to Evo X release.
Both cars remapped WILL crack their OEM cast iron exhaust manifolds. Hence mine being tubular steel from C-TEC.
Mine flows so well, 440bhp is possible, only limited by the engine rods and SST clutches.
Buy KSport or Stoptech brakes for a Ralliart, as Brembos have to be cut to fit.
The ACD 4WD system without AYC is better in my opinion. The Ralliart comes with an Evo 9 RS plated rear diff instead of the AYC diff in the Evo X.

I've removed the rest of the spec of my car from this thread, as keyboard warriors have ruined the thread.

This discussion was for the practical differences between a Lancer Ralliart and an Evo X. Nothing to do with a 4G63 engine or WRC heritage.

I think I'll stick to using Facebook, as this forum is a waste of my time.

You spent all that money trying to turn a Ralliart into an evo yet it still lacks what makes an evo an evo. Should have just bought an evo, it's what, 5k more?
An Evo can't fold the rear seats down and fit all my landlord stuff in behind the front seats. An Evo has a tiny boot and is impractical for me and my family too.

It suits me just fine thanks!
