Hi,

I get my Magnex system fitted tomorrow and I have a Ralliart sports ECU on order.

I have read that you must have a intercooler pipe kit if you have the sports ecu.

What is this pipe kit and what does it do ? Do I really need it ?

Can't see why you'd need a pipe kit!

The Magnex is chuffing loud, especially a tickover!

Mark, the intercooler pipe kit replaces the steel intercooler pipes and rubber joining hoses, from the turbo to intercooler to intake manifold with larger diameter aluminium pipes and silicon joining hoses. All this reduces intake resistance and turbo lag but only slightly. It is not a necessity if you fit the sports ecu.

Where did you read that?? You dont need it, especially not for the price it costs. Should you change intercoolers at some point in time, you get the pipes anyway...
