JUST FITTED A HKS RACING SUCTION KIT AND THE CAR FEELS ABOUT THE SAME I HAVE A STANDARD E6 AS IN EXHAST IS STANDARD HKS DUMP VALVLE THATS IT WHY AINT I GAINED MUCH POWER MY BOOST HAS GONE UP :crackup:

any chance you could give that button a tap??

fitting a different pipe/filter is going to make hardly any noticeable difference on the road. you might notice it when you dyno it.

yes but only if the boost holds. whats he's probably experiencing is a spike in boost as the turbo starts to spool due to less restriction but as it goes up the revs it will still fall back to std boost levels. hence the similar power fig.

Just fitted an HKS RS pipe on my VI, running 1.5 bar boost.

Peak power jumped by 17bhp to 371bhp :eek:

Was running a little leaner than I liked as a result though, so have added a little fuel top end and probably dropped it to nearer 360bhp.

You need to get fueling checked with changes like this.........

you are right about the spike how can power go up 17bhp just from filter do i need a uprated exhaust to complement the rs intake.think i should take it to interpro for a dyno. any ideas :confused:
